An easy way to measure a bracelet and you can use things in your home to measure.
To find a beautiful bracelet, it is essential to understand the size of the bracelet to ensure that your accessory shines and sits in the perfect position. In this article, we will guide you through the process of measuring your bracelet size, including various terms used and the tools you need to prepare. Let’s get started!
Understanding Bracelet Sizing
There are two methods to measure bracelet size.
Method 1: For Adjustable or Stretch Bracelets
- Use a measuring tape to measure your wrist. Wrap it around your arm snugly and inform the store of your measurement in centimeters.
If you don’t have a measuring tape, use a string to measure your wrist tightly. Then, compare the length you’ve measured with a ruler and report this measurement to the store, again in centimeters. This method helps you find the size for your adjustable or stretch bracelet.
Method 2: For Non-adjustable Bracelets
- For bracelets that can’t be adjusted, use the measuring tape to measure your hand instead.
- If you don’t have a measuring tape, the same string can be used. The difference here is that for non-adjustable bracelets, you measure your hand instead of your wrist. Make sure the measurement is tight, similar to the above method.
Size Chart
- For a wrist size of 15 cm, use a bracelet size of 4.8 – 4.9 cm.
- For 15.5 cm, use a size of 5.0 – 5.1 cm.
- For 16 cm, use a size of 5.2 cm.
- For 16.5 cm, use a size of 5.3 – 5.4 cm.
- For 17 cm, use a size of 5.5 cm.
- For 17.5 cm, use a size of 5.6 – 5.7 cm.
- For 18 cm, use a size of 5.8 – 5.9 cm.
- For 18.5 cm, use a size of 6.0 cm.
- For 19 cm, use a size of 6.1 – 6.2 cm.
- For 19.5 cm, use a size of 6.3 cm.
- For 20 cm, use a size of 6.4 – 6.5 cm.
- For 20.5 cm, use a size of 6.6 – 6.7 cm.
The sizes listed in the chart are for a perfect fit. If you prefer a looser fit, do not increase the size by more than 2-3 millimeters as it might become too loose. If you want a tighter fit, do not decrease more than 1 millimeter.
